I've registered in 2 pharmacy sites and the BC site. Just waiting on the first one to get back to me with an appointment.

I'm in the States now, where Biden has been knocking it out of the park. Got my second shot couple weeks ago.
My parents on the North Shore got their first shot last week. So looking forward to when my family and friends and everyone back home in Van are all inoculated. Be safe everyone, almost there.
Wife put us on about 25 waitlists yesterday, she has an appointment Sunday. I've had a booking opportunity come up, I didn't act quickly enough...
...but nothing REALLY changes until enough of the population is vaccinated or infected so be patient people!

As far as social life this is true, but my wife has pretty bad respiratory issues and has been worried about catching COVID for a year, so putting that stress behind us will be nice.
Walmart in New West has a bunch of availability over the next few days
I'm under 40 so I gotta wait. Hopefully all of you that want one can get in quickly!

I used the pharmacy online site and found a Safeway that had a slot open an hour later. Went and got the shot. Contrary to what people have been saying, the injection hurt!

Fair nuff, a bit of self centered thinking on my part there. I’ve become fairly unconcerned about getting infected myself so I’m wrapped up in the social/business concerns.
I’m sure this has been an exceptionally stressful time and I hope that getting your shot brings relief.
I’m continually amazed at the different ways this thing affects people. I have friends that are simply bored, others that fear for their lives and some who seem to be dealing with new stresses coming all the time.
