My trainer up here stopped doing sparring classes for some reason so I stopped going and I don't have the time to go to vancouver. Most of the amateur KB fights are really shitty formats, 1 min rounds and stuff and I just can't be bothered with that. I'm 37 years old now and will never be able to get anywhere really serious with it now, so getting back into comps doesn't make much sense at this time
I do LOVE sparring though and am trying to get a group together for that

Monson is a duster - the guy lost to Forrest Griffin in the past. Sure he has 16 wins in a row but none of the names better than B-class. IMO, it should be Vera in there fighting Tim the Meathead.

I dont know about that, thats like saying Hughes lost to Hallman twice… Monson has some talent and an excellent ground game. I would still bet on Alex, but Monson is really the only UFC heavyweight that I have hopes for.
Then again thats not saying much, the division is pretty much a joke.
I have to say from watching UFC forom the very first one to now , Its all washed up. Pride is by far a way better class of fighting and fighters.
