you know i didn't really like conor's personal style at first , but i have grown to admire him. taking this fight at 170 is a bold ass move. i really believe they are both training hard and seriously want to win.

Yeah, you're right. Ruined is a little too strong a word. His brand takes a massive hit and his status as PPV king dissapears, but he should be able to climb the mountain again through hard work at his own weight as you mention. Like him or hate him, the dude makes things interesting.

So, what did people think of the McGregor/Diaz decision? Watched a replay Sunday night, was a close fight for sure and pretty entertaining.
i thought cm was impressive. nate is claiming to have suffered two injuries in training .. he sure didn't have an answer for thos leg kicks. the judges scored it pretty close. but the facial damage score was pretty much against diaz..

i am a diaz fan and was pretty skeptical of cm…but looking at them post fight, i don't need a judge to tell me who won on points..

Happy Connor won. What do you guys think is next for him? I am not convinced he returns to 145. The way the whole Diaz narrative played out; losing then rematching at 170 etc. I think this has raised his stock and he will hold the UFC's feet to the proverbial fire in terms of his next fight. Thinking' he tests the 155 waters next.
