If you supported Trump leading up to 2016 - I can get how you could ignore all the obvious signs of him being a weak, racist sexual assaulter who was a huge risk to foreign states manipulating and using him (either because of the dirt they have on him or because they know he is not a smart person, or both like how Putin does)
