Trump is walking away scot-free.

First-past-the-post is the biggest reason things like this continues on.

I find it hard to believe that the tax man can ignore all the unpaid taxes. The American people should be just as concerned about that, but nothing surprises me about our southern neighbours anymore.

Biden shouldn't do anything, for the same reason Trump shouldn't have tried to launch an investigation into Hunter Biden.  The optics of having a President instigate an investigation into a political opponent (or fam member) are terrible.

However, an independently acting Attorney-General has every right to undertake any investigation that stems from available evidence.

I don’t really need to see him do time necessarily, but financially ruined like he’s done to so many others would be a start. Would also like to see Milania kick his ass to the curb.

I am pretty cynical at this point as well, but I think there is enough evidence floating around for some of it to find it's way into a court of law whether it is state or federal.  Once he is out of office his criminal behaviour is no longer something for congress to be involved with, and if he does get charged Biden won't pardon him.  The next POTUS might, or Trump pre-emptively before he leaves, but pardoning him would be suicide for Biden.
