Who is in favour of deleting this toxic thread on January 20th? We can start a new one since we all know the bad orange man will never leave us alone, but this thread should die with his presidency.

🥳

What? Like there wont be a Trump 2020 thread.

:P

Don’t you mean Trump 2024?

I donut.

OK, that was pretty funny.  Well played CP.

I can't help but notice that Trump's next play seems to be using the threat of taking his loyalists away from the GOP to keep people like Graham in line once out of office.  Roger Stone was telling supporters to write in Trump's name in the Georgia senate election and now is taking that back, but it sure seems like a shot across the bow.  I don't see why it wouldn't work.  His followers would do anything he tells them and he could sink almost any election if he wants just by getting his base to skip the election or write in his name.  He could also go independent and become a thorn in the side of the GOP until he dies or goes to jail (either could be imminent though).

Thoughts?  Shogun, what is the brain trust at 4chan think?

the national security state spent four years undermining a duly elected POTUS. Irrespective of your political leanings this behaviour isn't exactly condusive to democracy

So are we lining up to buy Gate's book and believe what he says now?  You have very strange criteria when it comes to trusted sources of information.

Flynn just got his pardon.  Who is next?

The orange guy is going to go full flamethrower.

You by chance referring to the bringing back of firing squads and electrocutions to federal executions?

Are you familiar with the ending of Scareface? Well, add in a little Independence Day.

Electrocutions never left. They are pretty rare, but some States still have the option. Seems the lethal injection route isnt always as 'humane and effective' as it should be and they seem to be having a hard time sourcing the drugs required to carry it out in some cases.

Electrocutions never left. They are pretty rare,

Not in Chicago....

For decades, Chicago’s Area 2, where officer Jon Burge’s seven-member “A-Team” took their suspects, was a notorious torture site. An anonymous police department whistleblower named Burge as a perpetrator in 35 torture cases, Ralph reports. “A total of 67 officers were identified by survivors as having direct knowledge of torture.” The torments included beatings, being shackled to a hot radiator, mock suffocations and electrocutions from Burge’s infamous black box. Once knowledge of this dreadful little machine seeped out and Burge was defending himself in the courts, he “is rumored to actually have thrown his torture device in Lake Michigan from his boat, named ‘Vigilante.'”

That's nice. Except we weren't talking about police torture, the topic was federal executions.

I had never heard of any of these people and wasn't the CA scandal about how they mined Facebook data without consent? I don't remember Russia having anything to do with it.

It's amusing how all these sites keep scrambling to try and prove they weren't idiots for downplaying Russian propaganda while everyone else has moved on. It happened. Trump was elected and served 4 years riding the tailwind. It's not even debatable with how close the 2016 election was, but you keep bringing it up. Irony?
