Now it looks like the real shit show begins.  They are going to argue over this report until the election, but I can't see it being damaging enough to get Republicans to impeach since they are not going to indict anyone else which makes the whole idea pointless.  Meanwhile, SDNY is digging into who knows what and that is still where the danger lurks for the Trumps IMO.  I always thought it was his past shenanigans that would get him, not collusion.

Brutal how the AG puts out a summary that spins a different yarn than the actual report.  But I guess everyone pretty much know that's what would happen.

Having said that, the Democrats are going to shoot themselves in the foot if they don't let the collusion aspect go.  They and their counterparts need to focus on taking down Russia's cyber and social media campaign.  Big threat to the West.

The Democrats and Republicans are a much bigger threat to America.

What Reductimat said. You're such a dupe.

Russiagate was never about substance, it was about who gets to image-manage the decline of a turbo-charged, self-harming neoliberal capitalism

Stop with the fucking Counterpunch man!! It took 3 paragraphs for those idiots to talk about the Clinton Foundation. They are a joke. The Russian interference in the election happened, we all know it, but it was never going to be easy to prove that Trump directly colluded with the Russians. Manafort handed them campaign data which ought to have been enough, but until we all see that report we will never know why they didn't indict.

You sound like every teen on Reddit that think the "media" get their marching orders from corporate big wigs. The media is out to make money and will show you the news that will attract the most eyeballs. And that is it. We would have never seen POTUS Trump otherwise.

At this point, I think it is very premature to believe that the report exonerates Trump in any way.  All we know is what Barr wants us to know.

With a little more tin foil (and weed), you'll be less of a dupe and move over to the truth that is the counterpunch.

I am not sure there is enough weed to get me there... and I have tried.

Don't know what will be worse when we look back.  8 years of Trump or 8 years of George Dubbulya.

The Dems have no one besides Bernie as a candidate, don't think he will get the votes.

All polls last time showed him easily beating the orange swindler.

They go head to head this time Bernie only loses because of gerrymandering or voter suppression/fraud by republicans.

Or...lol...

A quick bet is that the 2020 presidential election is now Donald Trump’s to lose. Lying sacks of shit like James Clapper and John Brennan will tie their lots to whomever will fund their adventures in mal-governance as the world burns and species become extinct. The tragedy here is that there are real issues in need of resolution. The Democrats’ three-year adventure in red-baiting served to legitimate a financial-military-industrial complex that apparently intends to end the planet as it makes as many people miserable in the process as is possible. Congratulations assholes.

Kinda like the predicted landslide victory for Hillary last time around. I sure hope the Orange baboon doesn't win but not holding my breath.

Didn't 2016 teach you guys to avoid making predictions?  There are way too many variables to get worked up about Trump winning another 4 years at this point.  Trump won despite himself in 2016, his popularity hasn't changed much and the midterms went strongly against him.  He can easily lose even if nothing significant comes out between then and now, but keep in mind, November 3, 2020 is 58.7 mooches away still.

In the meantime we have to wait to see:

- what's in the report
- if SDNY has any indictments coming
- who is going to run for the Dems
- where the economy is going
- will the GOP gut healthcare as Trump wants
- will anything come from all the other investigations
- will there be a war
- will there be a terror attack
- will there be impeachment proceedings

That is a lot we don't have a clue about.  I will say though that I think the Democrats have a pretty deep field beside Bernie.  Polling now when there is so many in the race is pointless.  The average Joe and Jane don't pay any attention to these people until the campaign, or at least deep into the primaries.
