This guy deserved to die,
How so? Any more than any other high ranking military official serving on foreign soil in the ME?
Let's be honest here, neither one of us knew shit about this guy until yesterday, but from what I can tell he killed a lot of Americans so the target was on him. Personally, I would be perfectly fine if the entire theocratic group of assholes that currently control Iran took a long dirt nap and he was the right hand of the Ayatollah. Sorry if I don't care that he is dead.

It's a shame the US usurped the (at the time) very forward-thinking Iran and replaced their government with these theocratic shitheads.
Maybe he should have sent the Navy Seals in?

General Qassem was in line to become president of Iran. He was widely respected for his wisdom, religious faith, and clever diplomacy.
The 62-year-old general distinguished himself in the long Iraq-Iran War, the dirty war in Lebanon, and operations in Iraq. He played a key role in defeating the ultra-radical Islamic State movement in Iraq, working in tandem with the US. Soleimani helped turn the tide of battle in Syria, saving the regime of Bashar Assad.
As a result of his battlefield and political successes, Soleimani earned the enmity of the US, Israel and the US media. So many assassination attempts were launched against him that Iran’s spiritual leader dubbed him a ‘living martyr.’

I never said it was legal, just that he was a murderous asshole. You asked why I thought he deserved what he got, not if it was approved by international law. Nothing about these proxy wars is legal or ethical.

Actually, you can tell, how?
.........the claim that Soleimani and the Iranian government are somehow responsible for the deaths of “hundreds of Americans” in Iraq—which has been repeated by leading Democrats and the mainstream media—appears to be groundless.

So you think he was in Iraq for the falafels? Why is it that you can only conceive of evil Americans, but this guy or Gaddafi are cool dudes? Iran has been slowly taking control of Iraq and they want the US out of there. He has been working behind the scenes to make that happen, which sometimes means dead Americans.

Allegations in the WAPO addressed in my link above.
Soleimami was a patriot. Try and wrap your American poisoned Canadian brain around that. SAD!
There is no greater evil than the Great Satan, witness..... https://twitter.com/janearraf/status/1213823941321592834
The US is getting squeezed out of the ME. Boo fucking hoo. About time.....
Remember Iran hasn't attacked another nation in over 300 years. America, not so much.

Attacked or invaded? There’s a difference.
