Funny how the birthplace of the NDP now votes 90% conservative.
I guess that's what oil will do to a people.

And now that they don't get their way, they immediately want to leave. Funny how they're acting a whole lot like the entitled snowflakes they so love to hate.
Wanna read some great stuff go to the comments section on the CBC news site. . The Albertans are rabid, great comedy.
If we ever did get to have proportional representation people in this country will have to get used to minority governments. I am fine with them and they make the parties actually work together, but a lot of people think that they are useless.

They base that all on what some commercials have told them... (remember when the BC Libs had fucking Nazi commercials during our last referendum? The general electorate are a bunch of paint eating inbreds).

Can you imagine being innocent of a major crime and going to court to face a "jury of your peers"? Your fate decided by 12 people that just want to go home and watch reality TV?

Idiots. Shellac tastes much better.
Very tasty...
2 things:
1 - Wrong Thread
2 - They corrected the story. Clinton didn't say the Russians were grooming Gabbard as a third party candidate, she said the Republicans were, which might be a good plan for them.
.1) Seemed a good idea at the time.???

Mincing pimp? That's a new one.

Long and troubling.....
“Brand Trudeau is: ‘Welcome to the new politics, just like the old politics.’”
– Shachi Kurl, Angus Reid Institute, The Guardian, Aug 22, 2019
Trudeau’s time in office was a return to what had been dubbed in Canadian political circles the Laurentian Consensus, the elite self-absorbed view of those in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and cities along the St. Lawrence River. As John Ibbitson of The Globe and Mail described it in 2011, “On all the great issues of the day, this Laurentian elite debated among themselves, reached a consensus and implemented that consensus. In short, they governed the country.”

We will never really get away from that. Not unless a whole lot of people move to BC and Alberta. That stretch from Toronto to QC is just too damn populated.
