Last night, I took apart my trials bike and put it back together. No more squeaks. it is all ready to go.

I can ride with you this weekend Mark. Wherever you want to go. unless you can ride both days, I will spend one day on the 690.

I will probably ride both days, but on which bike I don't know.

If Mark can make sunday, why not we all go for a ride on sunday. I will go for a 690 ride tomorrow.

Crumpit would be fun

I'm going to explore this trail and others today.

It starts on this old mtb/atv trail and becomes an awesome line of steep single track.

Moss covered logging road at the top.

This question is sort of dirt bike related but also has trials related bits so I'll post it here. :D

My brother might be looking for a bike but really wants a seat for exploring gravel roads. Is there anything out there that will do the slow speed steep trails like a trials bike but has a seat? Cheap, newbie friendly and a low seat height would be requirements.

I'm concerned the beginner trail bikes like the CRF230F or TTR230 will be too heavy and something like a KTM 200 too tall and quick for him. I'm also unsure if the popular 2t woods bikes will be happy putting along with a trials bike.

The CRF230F I rode around a parking lot seemed mild and easy to handle. For a light guy like him it should have enough power but I'm afraid it will be a pig in the steep trails.

I've been on the lookout for a 200cc trials bike for him but they don't seem to go up for sale very often.

I know a bunch of you guys have dirt and trials bikes so I thought I would see if anybody has any suggestions.

I was thinking a Wolfman Bottle Holster might work strapped to the bike.

Such a bike doesn't exist unfortunately. That is why some of us have a trials bike and a dirt bike, and some even have a dual sport.

My kdx is close to what you are looking for, but, you would have to buy one, and build it to suit the purpose. There goes the cheap requirement.

Once you take a dirt bike anywhere a trials guy is having fun, I guarantee the dirt biker isn't. Vice versa.

Take out the cheap requirement, and the sherco x-ride 2.9 looks promising.

Ok, I just thought of a bike that can putt with a trials bike, has a low seat, is cheap and newbie friendly……..Honda CT70. Not very manly but there you go.
