I bet tubeless gives some awesume traction, so how much air pressure do you run, at the low pressures does the tire slip on the rim in use?
anything I know about trials moto's is from back in the day

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how low of tire pressure the trials tires can go. I started out with 7-8 and have been dropping it ever since. I think you can safely get into the 2 psi range. I'm still running around 4-5 psi.
The tire fits on the rim pretty snug and holds to with no issues. I had to break the bead on the one side of my tire and using a multitude of garage tools, I couldnt get it off. I ended up down at the tire shop and they used their bead breaker.
I stick the tire in my bench vise to break the bead. It also holds the tire while I get the wheel out.
To get the beading back together, I use 2 wide rachets, and a little bit of dish soap. Of course having a big compressor helps.
Warning!!!!!
If you use the method I have just described, make sure to wear safety glasses. Soap in the eyes is not a super good time.
Gents,
Britannia is another world. Wow big time vert and amazing views. We will see what the logging brings….or brings down
Here are a few pics from the day. I am sure some one can post them for me….

britannia is a special place for sure. Too bad about the logging. It will never be the same.
Here is APT and Ando at catching some sun on a beautiful feb afternoon
Here is Ando riding the rock spine from his second shot
Here he is again. He was killing it on sunday. Definately did better than my first trip there.
There was too much riding to be done, so not many pictures got taken.
The so called "Killing it" is the result of good company ;)
Having you guys to ride with is what pushes the pack!
I would not ride half the stuff we did unless I saw it ridden first.
Other times it just feels like you have to man up as that is the only way the trail goes!
It was a good vibe riding with such a mixed crew on Sunday. From Spencer the ambassador of trials all the was to the trail dog!
It reminds me of the early hucking days of mtb…but now its not hucking its just ripping along

Sad I might not get a chance to ride Britannia before the trees come down. :(
Looks like it was a great day, though!
So sunday? Anyone? brap…put put

Where are you thinking? You can still ride even with the trials event going on
I am a bit torn……
I want to ride tomorrow. I really do. The problem is while I was getting my bike ready to go, I accidentally got my kdx ready to go for a ride. Now a part of me wants to go post in the other moto thread and go to vedder.
I have a rough life:rocker:
