^^what year is that OSSA?
Trial Riding Thread - All Things Trials
Look up the cost of the Termignoni exhaust on that Ossa I posted. That bike is a really good deal if it comes with those upgrades at that price.
Here is mine looking pretty to help you make up your mind. :D
Btw, the Explorer is basically the the same as the TR280i but uses tube wheels and cheaper suspension. The only bonus is extra fuel capacity and a seat for trail riding.
I cant see any upgrades listed, you can tell just by looking at it I guess?
Seems a lot of guys are upgrading explorer suspenders.
Takes just a few minutes to remove the seat and put on rear fender (you need to buy that) to convert it.
I can see my other bikes collecting dust shortly

Weather this week is calling for an after work ride…..

Mine is a 2011.

Yep, I just listed what I saw. You can look for yourself by comparing some pictures.
I would be good to get an actual confirmation from the seller but even without the upgrades it is still a good price.

nice!
I see you found the video of me picking up my new bike.
I grabbed the 04 beta 270 for $2000 before it left town.
Can always upgrade later.
Like Bryan said most new riders probably can tell a difference from a newer bike.
The dealer with the ossa didn't get back to me today
A beta dealer in Ont. did get back.
He will ship this 2011 beta 250 for $200 to mountain in Coquitlam if anyone is interested.
$5200 tax in plus shipping. Be nice to touch it before laying down that much cash though.

04 trials bike for 2k seems like a pretty good deal.
With Bob at Mountain just around the corner, not only will parts be close, they will also be decently priced.
Have fun.

Thanks, everything seems tight. The floating brake disk almost makes it seem like the fork bushings or headset is done. It takes a few seconds for the motor to get back to idle after a twist of the throttle. I guess that is normal, it is not the stock flywheel.
Only issue I see is the inside of the rear brake pedal rubs on the chain. I'll have to fix it.

Well done. Just read up about the Beta Rev. The carb is a little finicky but there are alot of info on the fix.

good price on a nice boot.
oh my beta catches on fire like that all the time! wow!
Good deal on those boots….got the same ones out of Germany for about $320 all in….
Cool another rider in the game…..
kiss the rest of your bikes goodbye…..These things go anywhere…its like a hybrid mtn bike but it goes up hill….straight up hill
The ioco trials guys rider rather religiously every Sunday about 10ish all year round.
Pretty easy to get a riding partner to show you around…but the old boys can teach you so much about your bike and riding technique. Ask questions they will certainly help out.
And Bob will have the all the parts you need to replace your broken ones….just call him in advance he is not there all that often.
putt putt
