Uniquely Vancouver.
I would venture to say that most people who live in $1.2 million dollar homes wouldn't much care for $500.00 left or right a year.
However, I know this not to be true in Vancouver. Mostly because over half the people that do live in these homes could never afford to buy them at these prices, and those that have purchased at these prices are stretched beyond thin.
How anyone can argue that our housing costs are not detrimental to the progress of this city is beyond me.
