It's only about five years before an onboard computer does all our driving.

Clearly, you need a louder horn.  The ones the trains use at 3 am as they pass through residential neighborhoods should do the trick.

but i can change the radio channel on the touch screen in my truck or dick with the heater/ac controls.

Man, why are you so bitter?

Don't you understand abject fear is the only path to total compliance?

I mean lets think about this. I would say that the #1 reason for many fatalities/accidents over the last say 30 years has been alcohol. However there is still a window of an allowable amount in your system after all these years. Cell phone have been a major problem while driving for alot less time and yet theres a zero tolerance policy. Am I comparing apples to oranges? .

The government makes money selling booze, not phone plans.  You don't mess with the golden egg....

The #1 reason for accidents is a non-existent driver licensing system.

So from reading that article it seems I'm not allowed to read a text at a red light unless the phone is mounted to my dashboard???

Cell phones should be locked in the trunk while driving.

When I got a ticket I was told it needs to be out of sight in the glovebox .
