Good music definitely comes in all forms. I'm really exploring hip hop these days, lots of good music. I know fuck all about this knew indie scene, will check it out. Pretty much love all genres of music.
The only band on some of the lists in this thread I don't like is Radiohead. I had a few of their CDs, but for me it's just too emo/depressing. I tried to like them but gave up.

I thought this was amazing. I like it better than a lot of the originals, and way better than the Linkin Park mas ups.

inversely, i was a huge fan back in the 80's (i've got all the classic albums on vinyl), but haven't listened for two decades since. the music just seems kinda dorky [HTML_REMOVED] adolescent to me now. maybe one day i'll be gripped by nostalgia.

have to think about stuff that still resonates with me after a bunch of years…

did you have a giant back patch of eddie on your jean jacket?

Never got into slayer either but ive listend to a bit recently, what's THE slayer album to get?

Not a Jay Z fan nor a radio head fan, but I downloaded this a few months ago, and gotta say I liked it alot.

Just because I like boys doesn't mean I want to go out with Mike.

Today while driving home from work I listened to a lot of the Foo's and Clutch. Forgot them completely.

The list should be longer. Hmm.

radiohead has a spectrum. Pablo Honey is killer. OK Computer is killer.

not a huge fan of the "emo" aspect. I just can't ignore Johnny Greenwood on guitar. He could be playing in Blink 182, and i'd listen just to hear him.

Radiohead and emo should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.

ok. i was wrong
machine head rocks my socks i remember i was listening to imperium and then i crashed my car and it was still playing.
makes me want to fight people.
