Oh shit forgot about RA the Rugged Man. Was so dissapointed I couldn't see him and Ill Bill in Vancouver over thanksgiving.
Just because I like boys doesn't mean I want to go out with Mike.
not necessarily top five favorites but bands I was really into at one point or anouther
the doors
the orb
butthole surfers
forgotten rebels
chemical brothers
Good music definitely comes in all forms. I'm really exploring hip hop these days, lots of good music. I know fuck all about this new indie scene, will check it out. Pretty much love all genres of music.
The only band on some of the lists in this thread I don't like is Radiohead. I had a few of their CDs, but for me it's just too emo/depressing. I tried to like them but gave up.
WAR IS PEACE, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY, IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.
latley im really loving the Iron Maiden, for some reason I was never into them before.

Epic story telling band. Got Number of the Beast for Christmas.

radiohead has a spectrum. Pablo Honey is killer. OK Computer is killer.
not a huge fan of the "emo" aspect. I just can't ignore Johnny Greenwood on guitar. He could be playing in Blink 182, and i'd listen just to hear him.

people that don't like the chemical brothers are hopeless. Similar to not liking Dylan,
latley im really loving the Iron Maiden, for some reason I was never into them before.
inversely, i was a huge fan back in the 80's (i've got all the classic albums on vinyl), but haven't listened for two decades since. the music just seems kinda dorky [HTML_REMOVED] adolescent to me now. maybe one day i'll be gripped by nostalgia.
have to think about stuff that still resonates with me after a bunch of years…
