At the risk of disappointing Kram again I'm sharing this video of a song from Puscifer's new album. Good to see Maynard hasn't lost his voice at least.
Tool
Oh dammit, it happened again. Tool thread bumped, got excited. Now :(
I'm not able to listen right now but will check it out for sure when I can.
I dig the Puscifer single, looking forward to that album as well in a few months.
This is the first time I've actually let myself believe a new album is reasonably close to happening. I have a feeling they will sneak it out just under 10 years from 10,000 days.
Last time I saw them was Vancouver in 2010, it was a great show.
in spots very Tool ish when compared to other Puscifer cool song thou have to get the cd to blast in the shop
#northsidetrailbuilders
It's a pretty good song though right? At least I like it lol
Forgot about this. Just had a listen and yeah, it's pretty good. Better than the other Puscifer stuff. Going to play it again
Cheers
Who would have thought we'd still be waiting this long.

Apparently the album is complete. Haven't heard of a release date yet though. I'm sure it'll be a good one. It took me a while and more than a few listens to get into each album after their releases. It was almost like a seed was planted after the first listen and took time to grow and I think that's good for an albums staying power. I could listen to any their albums and never grow tired of them and I seem to hear something new every time.
I totally agree. A couple of my favourite albums (The Hip - Fully Completely and Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique) didn't resonate with me much on the first listen but got better with each round. I should start listening to Lateralus as preparation.

Fucking finally. All songs confirmed >10min, can't wait to hear it and see the next tour.
Cautiously optimistic on that.. 10000 days title track was super anti climatic and boring, rosetta stoned on the other hand still make it in my playlist.

Laterlaus and Aenima are leagues above it, but I still liked the album overall... Jambi, Wings 1/2, The Pot, Roseta Stoned, Intension, Right in Two... pretty good stuff.
I should be more cautious on the date estimates from the band themselves. Pretty sure they said the album would for sure be out in 2018, and also said they were nearing completion of certain aspects back in 2016 heh.
Tool was the first and if I'm honest, the only band where I powered through, "not getting all their songs." For whatever reason I stayed the course and now I see how incredible they are.
Besides their noise songs like Harry Manback, does any other band come close to them?
August 30th people!
