10000 days has some awesome songs on it. but a few like jambi dont really do anything for me. 10000 days part 2 never really goes anywhere either, its very anti climatic. at least it has vicarious, the pot, Rosetta stoned and right in two..
crazy to think its been almost 10 years since it came out.

10 years? Holy shit, it does not seem like that long ago but now that I think about it I bought it at a gas station and I don't think that has been possible for a while now.

For me it's all about Lateralus and Ainema. So cerebral.

Agreed.

The transition from Parabol to Parabola makes me want to flip cars.

Lateralus was the only cd in my car for about three years and I cranked it the whole way to work and back everyday for that whole time, and it was a 45 minute drive for a year of that time. As a side note, I now have hearing damage.

back in ’92 from the first EP

I fucking love that song.

Can't imagine how long it took the guy to write that!

This was my favorite:

Rosetta’s husband Jimmy, 46, and son Jambi, 2, have been surprisingly supportive of Marie Rosetta’s decision. “We are choosing to be here right now,” Jimmy said before offering the words, “Hold on, stay inside,” to his wife.

Damn you for bringing this thread back to the top and making me think for just a moment that the new album was out.

Well at least now the band has stated that maximum we should have to wait is about another 6 months. They've never even come close to a statement like that.

I hope so, but I am certainly not planning a CD release party just yet :)
