What was a joke? That there's going to be a new album?

Apparently the album is complete. Haven't heard of a release date yet though. I'm sure it'll be a good one. It took me a while and more than a few listens to get into each album after their releases. It was almost like a seed was planted after the first listen and took time to grow and I think that's good for an albums staying power. I could listen to any their albums and never grow tired of them and I seem to hear something new every time.

Tool is hands-down my favorite band. No one else comes close. I can listen to any of their albums on any day and never get tired of it.

IMO, Opiate was their best. Those 2 live tracks kicked butt.

These guys are simply the best rock band ever.

Fore sure Tool is my top 5. That being said I'm not sure about them live. I saw the last consert in Van. Light show was crazy good but Maynard did alot of posing. Now if you want to see an awsome show, Slipknot is here in August.

i can still remember hearing it on the uni radio during my university days…went out bought it, i still love it all. i don't get the hate for 10000 days though, maybe not so hard, but moody and has some beautiful hard melodic parts. can listen as a whole album at work, in the car as background awesomeness

Tool band members are all very good players, but they are not one of my favorite bands. [BTW sridout, the Slipknot/ Lamb of God show is going to be off the hook.]

Best band ever. Can not wait.

PS: Their new album can't be as good as their last four, right? I get the feeling I'm setting myself up for major disappointment seeing as how high they've set the bar.

I used to skip The Pot. Now I crank it. Seeing some of those songs live really got me into them. Something special on all their albums for me.
