I expect only a best from a guy who has referred to Tool fans as Insufferable retards that take themselves to serious and need to lighten up. Keenan is much more invested in Puscifer now. I think he's mostly doing the tour as a favour to Jones who must be having financial problems because he's selling blankets made of old tool tshirts and offering fans a chance to meet him on tour for $500.

Not sure why it would sell out in SD so fast. Last time they played here a couple years ago, same venue, I don't think it sold out as I bought tix through ticketmaster a few days before. I'll wait and hopefully score a CL deal close to the show.

From interviews it sounds like there's a new album in the works next year, but who knows. Not sure I would go to another show without new material out, last one in 2010 was awesome but I need new stuff.

I feel for Maynard, it must be effing painful when he has to interact with his fans.
