Tonquin beach.
Tacofino truck.
Get mad at redplates.
Get mad at idiots passing you in blind corners.
5040 peak is a good easy mountain you could hike up if the weather is good and you got a 4x4.

If you get down to Ucluelet, there is a food truck at the corner of Bay Street [HTML_REMOVED] Peninsula Road that has really good fish and chips. It was there last year anyways [HTML_REMOVED] every other time I have went over the years.

Halfmoon bay near the junction is one of my favourite spots, nice walk in. Get beers at Tofino brewing and walk across the street to Red can for a good sandwich.

took the fam on a water taxi to ahousaht. went for a hike on Flores Island to Cow Bay. We took 3 days but it can be done in one. A beaut.

This. Tofino is one of the prime spots in the world to learn. A two hour intro lesson including gear won't set you back by much, and it's SUPER FUN. I've taken a bunch of people and everybody has loved it, including ladies and kids.

Tip: Book your lesson in the morning, pay a little bit extra to keep your rentals for the whole day.. that way you can do another session in the afternoon.
