Tofino Accomodation?

Hey guys
I am hoping to book a 1br for two nights sometime early May.
I want to be near a surf spot like chestermans say.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Know of any deals?
A kitchen(ette) would be great, but I am open to suggestions.

If it happens to be nice, that's a bonus… it is an anniversary thing, get me? I can potentially find the money to spare if its worth it.

Cheers boys

Not sure about the middle of winter, but every time I've been there in the summer or on a weekend there has been a wait, so expect to wait, outside.
Best to wait with one of their flavored Vodka Caesars in each hand hand though.

Last year there was a special on Travel Best Bets for Pacific Sands Beach Resort at Cox Bay that we got in on, that place was pretty good.

Middle Beach Lodge is pretty legit, rustic cabins on the rocky bluffs at Mackenzie Beach. Mackenzie Beach Lodge has some small cabins as well

Maybe Long Beach Lodge??? Or the Wick???

The cabins at Crystal Cove are nice, and on Mackenzie beach.

We stayed at the Terrace Beach Resort in Ucluelet a few years back. http://www.terracebeachresort.ca/home.html

No, it's not Tofino, but they have nice private cabins, some with private hot tubs, access to the Wild Pacific Trail from the south side of the property and only about 20 mins drive from some surf spots. And their rates at the time were very reasonable compared to some places in Tofino.

If the primary reason for your trip is to surf, maybe not the best spot. But for an anniversary, it's a nice property, quite private and still fairly close to Tofino and places to surf.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions guys!
Tofino is expensive isnt it? I am narrowing it down. We cant break the bank, as much as I want to just say fuck it, but there are still some options you guys gave that will work!

Ucluelet is super tempting. Maybe I'll just surf the saturday, so with a little distance to a surf beach that could be fine.

I think I am going to. Any more suggestions for places besides terrace beach? So I just rent a board somewhere and drive to a beach? seems fine.
