I was recently listening to an interview with some american academic who was forecasting massive civil unrest and violence in the streets in the near future,as joe public starts to realize how fucked he actually is.

Word is,it ain't gonna be nice and civil like the boston tea party…..its gonna get ugly.

….and nobody will be able to stop it.

Or maybe this has something to do with the fast that the conservative right is a bit more vocal then the liberal left. So far Barak is a 3rd term of Bush.Makes him an easy target for the numb minded Republican base.

Granted the choice between McCain and Obama, Barak would of had my vote too but its time for all you left wingers to admit that the campain was the best in history, but the substance behind is missing. Its now proven.

i don't see how you can say that obama is the third term of bush. bush never gave a speech comparable to the one obama gave in cairo, drank beer with his adversaries, pushed for renewable energy sources, or created a plan for real reform in our broken healthcare system.

maybe you can give examples of how he's similar to bush or how his campaign promises were hollow (like your typical politician)?

aside from the LGBT crew, i haven't heard obama supporters voice outrage over the way that he has been leading. his supporters are more frustrated that republicans try to sandbag every move that obama makes towards change.

I wasn't agreeing with derwood on Obama being 3rd term Bush, I was agreeing on the fact that people are pissed and they're going to start doing something about it. Look at Germany, they're starting to have riots again like they had in the 70s.

I think a lot of people elected Obama on his message of hope and change, but they're not seeing that hope and change and it's pissing them off. Obama is like all politicians, in that he promises things but doesn't always deliver. That isn't necessarily his fault given what he inherited, but he's still going to take a good portion of the blame for not being able to fix things.

before he got in i figured he'd be another tony blair….it's looking similar so far.

the kind of change Obama promised will not happen over night the man has been in office half a year, give it time and you will see a difference.
I recall the same type of redneckism right wing militia crap happened under Clinton's term in office, anybody remember the big federal building that got blown up by domestic terrorism. It always seems that the republicans put the blame outside the country to divert attention away from what is really wrong at home and when the democrats try to fix what is wrong at home,they get shit on by the republicans who don't want to be made out to be the lazy, dumb fucks that they are. Only thing that is different is that this time its a black man in charge and the racists are chiming instead of stfu and letting the man do his thing.
