It's been an awesome show from my vantage point high in Lower Lonsdale - the strikes are sweeping west over West Van and Cypress towards the island now. Sunset was awesome with cool blue post-storm night in the East over Burnaby, and skies-of-fire sunset through the clouds to the West. Luckily we've had a good dousing of rain so hopefully there's minimal risk of fire.
stood on my landlord's balcony with my kids and watched the lightning strikes - absolutely beautiful to see. i love storms. haven't seen one like this in a long time.
