It isn't what you use anymore. Mxtabs has already been shut down. This totally blows.

I'm assuming he meant the RIAA, which they are. Musicians would get paid a whole lot more with them out of the picture and not taking their 'cut'. It's like a protection racket being run by the local mob.

old man rant

back in my day,we didnt have MXtabs, heck,we didnt even have computers!

but we learned how to play the recorder just fine, with our xeroxed sheet music that our music teacher transcribed by ear…..both ways, uphill in the snow, with nothing but burlap sacks for boots!

Get over it and yourself!

wow, that is bullshit.

The RIAA needs to learn that they can't just keep trying to change the world, they need to change with the world. Music sharing is a fact of life now, if someone really doesn't want to pay for a song, they don't have too. People are starting to realize that there whole organization is based on scare tactics. I can understand fighting the download of copyrighted music. But when you are talking about lyrics/tabs/sheet music that people potentially created on there own, they are going to have a hell of a time proving that they maliciously copied it. Not only that, but like many others have said, most bands don't list lyrics, so if I want to know whats being said in a song I have to go look it up, yet somehow that's wrong?
