So what about local tracks? Anything decent relatively close to the North Shore ? The rcpitstop website lists stuff that's out in the valley and another that sounds like it's in some guys backyard in PoCo? Is that it? There used to be a good outdoor track in Coquitlam. I don't think I'll get back into racing but I'm more of a track guy than a "basher" (I freaking hate that term).

How's the NVan BMX track for RC's??

I think I have RC car ADD… I just want too many damn things.

I reckon Slashes are very well regarded trucks, I'm starting to lean towards a brusheless 4x4 Slash for two reasons. One being that local shops seem to cary more Traxxas products, seems that HPI stuff is somewhat harder to get locally, which leads to two. If I get a RTR Slash I can use my transmitter if I chose to get a brusheless E-Maxx.

Objections?

I also partially have this decision making problem because I don't want to spend $800 right out of the gate on a HPI Savage Flux set up… Little steep.

Slash 4x4 dude is the first RC I bought in a long time.. and was the best thing to keep running. Cheap parts.. A Arms etc.. batts you can build up your collection as you keep ripping that thing up. The Kit alone does a good job.. when you go to Lipo you will just want more and more power! haha Tires will rip off their rims

Crawling got me back into RC a couple years ago, mainly because it's electric.
With a big lipo and 45turn, this Heep will crawl around for hours hassle-free.

^looks so real^
but no room for articulation…

i got an rc crawler over the rc missiles because i hate breaking….crawlers only break if you over torque in a tight spot or fall off a cliff.

I sold my buddy my old comp crawler 3 years ago. He still hasnt broken anything on it.

I havent broken anything on my scx10, scx 10 is more fun to crawl with than a comp cralwer too.

Incredible, like a dragonfly with ADD.

Well, well I been movin' down to Florida.
And I'm gonna bowl me a perfect game.
Well I'm gonna cut off my leg down in Florida, child.
And I'm gonna dance one-legged off in the rain.

Should give the controller to a kid with ADD.
