I couldn't live in PR unless I had something like this for commuting...

Buy a fast boat, man.

Rich man's toys boats ye be. I'll get a canoe and a 4x4 like the piece of white trash I am.

The trick will be not having to commute to the shitty.

The ocean is right there.  You need something better than a canoe.  A little car topper like the one in Tung's video would do the trick.  In good weather, you could get all over the place in one.   Beers on the beaches of Savary is a pretty sweet way to spend a Sunday.

I figure I would be better off just slipping some bills to a local and using theirs for a day.

It's better geographically, and has a lot more amenities that are clos by.  But it's also more expensive for housing.

Right? Especially in the wildwood district. Great big lots.

2-4 years ago the housing was likely half what it is now.

I agree with the 4x4 able to get dirty and a canoe.  But don't discount a car topper boat and kicker or a trailerable aluminum boat to get out onto the ocean or bigger lakes and especially if you have a desire to crab or fish.

Plenty of old skidder/rail lines in the low laying areas for trail running.

Lots of great trails in the Duck Lake area. Perfect for trail running.

Lots of lakes, Desolation sound around the corner.

Quite the spot

Quite indeed.

Old yachties speak fondly of Desolation Sound in the '70's when draft dodgers and hippies in general formed communes up there, supplies were scarce or non-existent, nude women would swim out to the anchored boats and suck cocks for a couple of cigarettes.

A carton would get you the afternoon and the whole enchilada!

You're not thinking of forming a commune, are you?

Bunny Lebowski : I'll suck your cock for a thousand dollars.

Brandt : Ah hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.

Bunny Lebowski : Brandt can't watch, though, or he has to pay a hundred.Brandt : Ah haha. That's marvelous.

The Dude : Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.

Would've been nice. We could have made a go of it but at the end of the day the other half needs more of her people around.

Perhaps somewhere on the island. We'll see. Thx for all the contributions to this thread.
