thought it might be good to have a dedicated surfing thread, there are a bunch of us who surf (badly).

looks like tomorrow will be one for the history books at nazare (portugal) - i've never seen an energy rating of 70,000 on surf-forecast before. should be a gongshow. someone's gonna ride a 100-footer finally, or drown trying.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

I also have begun to surf (very badly) this year. It's great! I surfed out at West Port yesterday and it was super fun. 6 foot swells at 12 seconds read the report.

Yeah, I figure he'll just sit on Maui and cry to CNN that the rest of the surfers aren't playing fair

Eff I strongly dislike cold water surfing, but enjoy longboarding. Speaking of which, I need to figure out another surf trip to a warmer destination

Sigh … I was thinking of going to Costa Rica for a short surfy trip. Lots of Americans. Bali … super cheap living … lots of Australians. Has anyone been to either?

ER_Regular and I went there once, maybe 6 hours drive, but it was fun. 3 different breaks to choose from.
