I am glad the Blues won. Good to see some of the retired players joining the festivities.

Correct about the Blues teams of the late 60's. They went up against Orr's Bruins and the powerhouse Habs.

Yeah talk about your ups and downs eh. Benched in game 3, ouch. But at the end when it was all on the line there he was plucking mutherfuckin bullets out of midflight. Boston outshot St. Louis 12-4 in the first period. Jordan stopped 32 shots by the end.

Watching his and Tuukka's moments of superhuman goal tending was the highlight of the series for me for sure.

Glad to see the Blues win.

I was at a conference in Dallas last week with a bunch of my company's sales managers, and it turns out Sean Kuraly's Dad works for us.  I ended up watching Game 6 with him, which was an interesting experience.  He was so happy that they got the win and forced game 7.  He booked a flight to Boston the next day, too bad it didn't work out the way he would have liked.

So, new season is upon us.

Revenge of Toronto?

Colorado Avalanche going to live up to the hype?

Glad to see the Blues win.

The rotters all went to party w/Trump @ the WH. I hope they don't even make play-offs this year.

The Avs are looking pretty damn good so far.  The Oil is too.  I thought that was the reason GeoffG popped in to say hi.

The end of an era. I can’t say that he didn’t have it coming. Probably should have happened some time ago. Don is gone. Not that he ever had much of a filter, but in the last few years he had definitely lost a marble  or two. Not only has the game past him by but society as well. Even a devout fan like myself has had a hard time listening to the blather for a while now. Coach’s Corner was must watch tv for most of my life, even if I did have to put up with watching a bit of the Leafs first. I’ll still miss Coach’s Corner even if it was far beyond its best before date.

In his defense he is 85.

He gets emotional about our military overseas, was blown away when he did a bit on a guy killed in Afghanistan who I played soccer with ten years ago. Perhaps instead of treating Nov 11 like a day off to go shopping it would be nice if more people did pay attention. He just kinda went about it the wrong way.
