No idea how to get images in here on my phone.

Should be a fun Sharks dressing room next season between Kane and Couture.

i'm tired of the mass scale group think virtue signalling. i see no connection whatsoever between cops shooting a black man and pro hockey. pro hockey has no say in the matter, won't play a role in breaking the cycle or whatever or have any impact on race relations in the excited states.  watching the meatheads debate the issue, painfully, in place of a hockey game broadcast and spout a bunch of platitudes is ridiculous. so within 5 minutes, it's back to movies or the youtube.  an easy way to guarantee no viewership or advertising is seen.  it's gone way way way too far.

I am currently not watching any sports. Sports should be a place where a person can escape from the stress of the world for a few hours, not be something that adds to the stress.

So what do you guys think, if Markstrom won’t sign for realistic money do we let him go?

Personally I would not be scared too, his salary could be better spent somewhere else.

I ♥️ Quinn Hughes.  Unreal race for the Calder between him and Makar. That is all.

If Demko keeps this up, Markstrom may lose some bargaining power with the Canucks. Back-to-back games is going to be a real test.

Markstrom has been fantastic the last two seasons, but he's peaking pretty late given all the hype he once had as "best goalie not in the NHL". I think teams might be concerned about giving him a big contract and him becoming the goalie equivalent of Eriksson.

It's awesome that three series have gone from being 3-1 to game 7.

I think we could see some disparity over what players want and expect compared to whats teams can offer based on lost revenue from last season and expected projections for this season. Because without butts in them seats, I'm not sure where that money will come from.

As for Markstrom, I think he's already gone. Not even sure why.

As Bieksa reminded everyone... the '11 Cup run was preceeded by two years of losing in the 2nd round, both times to Chicago.  Could be that VGK are the new dragon to be slayed.

Toffoli gone too. Signed with Habs for 4 years.  Virtually no grit left in Vancouver.

Total waste of a first rounder. Don’t get me wrong, Benning has an incredible eye for talent but he sure seems to struggle in the free agent department. I don’t know if that bodes well for retaining the amazing talent that he drafts.
