So here's the deal, at UBC, we have this "grassy knoll," it's this big near the SUB. Some of you may have heard of it. Anyway, the University is planning to have it removed as part of a development plan. This angered some people, and last night they had a protest. Here's the result:
I walked by earlier and saw they had a fire going. I instantly knew it was going to end something like this.

It's good to see that these idealistic young students are really upholding the history of student activism and tackling the big issues.

But I hate hippies. Actually I hate people who are wannabe hippies- they need to find a new cause, or fight their cause in a different way other than being a bunch of knobs.
