Actualy my mother was a particular brand of chinese the Peranakan, the women were known as Nonya, they are known for exceling at cooking [HTML_REMOVED] sewing and she did , while now you do find some in the early years there were almost none in Vancover my mother spoke Hokkien which was a different dialect than all the other chinese in Vancover, besides that my father is canadian and so I really grew up as just a white kid from Burnaby

my bro is japanese. i was hanging with him when we met this other dude of "asian" persuasion he turned out to be chinese.. they had to ask each other if they were chinese or japanese. ( i have actually seen this 2x in my life now.) when they realized they weren't both japanese or chinese.. things got quiet. you guys hate each other or what?

This is pretty impressive. Guy bulldozes $8+ Million dollar house to fuck with his wife. Definitely need more people like this in Vancouver.

Guy from China and guy from Japan got into a fistfight at work. Japanese dude got fired. Japan-Korea is another one those "I-thought-they-were-all-the-same" dynamics you don't want to mess with.

The only work completed on the new house was the construction of a new foundation; those involved in the project say they were told Dong was having trouble bringing money over from China.
