How would they even regulate this? A hotline to call?
The disputes would be endless. Cute, but lip service IMO

My best buddy is Asian (but he's literally 4th generation Canadian.) His family is going on a 2 week cruise/vacation next week. When he's out of town I'm calling the hotline. Prank of the year!

Edit: Is there a hotline yet? ;)

Wrong. Always.

Gov sees $$ signs for a new tax that will be unenforceable and just create businesses to be hired (chinese only of course) that will spend a few more days per month in each vacant home to pretend like someones living there. So no tax collected, business as usual folks.

Do you think some yellow person arrives on a flight from China with a bunch of cash in a false bottomed suitcase?

My people get the laundered money in thru the bank, they deal with the same banks that you do

My source tells me the banks are SLOWLY dealing with the situ, the gov is looking at possible tax evasion, in addition to the money laundering that has been happening for 15 yrs

It's a precious thought thinking the banks are law abiding when they are a honey trap for the most sociopathic amoungst us.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/just-another-weed-pot-plant-discovered-growing-in-burnaby-park-1.3649505

A single, healthy looking — though likely illegally planted — pot plant appears to be thriving in Burnaby's Meadowood Park, just a few steps off a walking trail.

CBC News was tipped off to the location of the one metre high marijuana plant by Overgrow Canada, a cannabis advocacy organization. A request for an interview was turned down.

Burnaby Parks director Dave Ellenwood says he's heard of pot plants growing in parks before, but that it usually happens deep in the forest.

how is this news?

Yeah but while there are lots of banks in the excited states there are only 5 class A banks in Canada and everybody reading this deals with them

It is as simple as these banks running some reports to find the money launderer

Funny that, ain't it. Seems so easy yet it hasn't been done. Almost like a certain group of people that run the show don't want to go there.

You forgot to end that with, "I only play a lawyer on TV".

In the context of BC housing, what international laws are relevant?

In the context of BC how do I, as a foreigner, bring $5,000,000 in cash into the country?

In the context of your second sentence, your random word generator is working to perfection.

A wise man once said, "There's something fucky going on".
