Earlier this year, NDP quietly raised the limits for BCLC online gambling from $10000 to $250000 for accounts and $10000 to $100000 for weekly transfers.  That money washing is a helluva drug.

No fucking shit.  I'll google, but do you have anything on hand?

Super quietly.

I've been thinking a lot to myself why I haven't heard of David Eby lately.

Not to mention Geoff Meggs is Horgan's right hand man.

And here I was hoping we could get away from guillotines.

I love how Canadian banks facilitated Smurfing so long as a mortgage is taken out with them.

I love how I’m constantly told we’re entitled for being unable to purchase housing when competing with international money launders

I guess if I only stopped eating avocado toast and lattes everyday for breakfast and chugging craft beers and eating ass every night for a year I’d be able to do it.

Eating ass is sooo expensive bro. Like I used to get paid to eat ass and now bitches be wanting me to pay.

Seriously though with all the mortgage deferalls coming due in the next couple weeks, while like 1/3 or whatever it was of all households were 200 bucks a month away from being bankrupt before all this shit hit the fan.. meanwhile were on course for a second wave cause nobody's giving a fuck anymore. Shit might just get awesome, or the investor's will keep pumping their ass eating money into out real estate cause that's not in their best interests either.

BC is only a step above Mexico in squashing money laundering. Here in BC one needs to walk a hockey bag full of cash into a casino. In Mexico HSBC would build teller windows to fit cartel money boxes.

The new home ownership registry in BC for "hidden owners" is long overdue. I wonder if it will make any difference moving forward?

Anyone who isn’t an individual buying real estate with their own name on title, it’s now a bit more complicated. The (government is) asking for a lot of information, from SIN numbers to other personal details,” said real estate lawyer Khushhal Bains. Any corporation, trustee or partnership that buys land in B.C. must now disclose the interest holders of that land through what will be known as the Land Owner Transparency Registry. Existing registered land owners have one year to register and disclose their interest holders.

The casino situation is worse IMO.  It takes a 2nd grade education to put together the dots on casinos and see that they are basically made for laundering money.  The limits are bullshit too.  25K is a lot of money for a small time criminal and what stops them from having all their minions do the same.

How hard would it be to make everyone cash in and out with ID?

Billion Dollar Fund Manager Comes Out Of Retirement To Bet Against Canadian Real Estate

Will this come back to bite him if it doesn't crash soon or can he just wait it out?

This was September 2017.  It looks like they couldn't wait it out, but damn they hung in there.

Man, hearing friends talk about what it's like to try to buy a house these days is nuts. People buying places 60k over asking price sight unseen.

This can't end well
