Foreigners are booking all the good campsites and pricing out locals … a campsite at the Haynes Point Provincial Park in Osoyoos went for $10,000 a night last Canada Day long weekend. Neighbors said that the site sat empty all weekend. Some fuckers have too much money.

Apparently there are only 7 full-time BC Parks Rangers in the entire province. They are responsible for an area the size of, and as hurting for funding as Greece.

I got buddies who are parkies they seem pretty happy, work the summer n get laid off in winter
