If I was looking for more of a offroad compatable camping set-up I would look at a Westy 4x4 van or a 4x4 Toyota van . Seen a video of a Toyota 4x4 van doing the Rubicon , van looked pretty stock apart from the BFG tires .

It may have been this van , but non the less it does more than my preunner Taco can LOL

Yup

Coleman has a little hot water on demand system that can be used for a shower set up .

There is also those little portable toilets you can get at CT for $150 or so that are nicer to use than a bucket and bags .

But yeah you are correct there is many a way to add luxury,s in a simpler way.

That thing is sweet!

Chris Bentchetler has a wicked Sprinter Camper van. It's up in Oregon parked next to Austin Smiths rig. Cyrus Sutton has a Sprinter and opens the barn doors to set up a shower.
Everyone down here has a long section plastic pipe strapped to their roof rack with a ball valve at the lower end. As well an an awning and snorkel.

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Game changer. $500 and I was a bit too spendy. $167? I'll have one of those for my next winter Tofino surf trip. My wife might even agree to go "camping" again.

I wonder these have not caught on? AWD, mid engine and optional supercharger. I think I have a project in mind…

Looks like you still need water pressure tho. Itd be cool to have a little pump included so you could pull water from a river/lake/tank

There is a pump available for $90 or so . If you look at the bottom of the link page there was a list of other items most common purchased and a pump was one of them .

My van already has a water pump and tank , one could use a gravity feed system if you don,t have a pump .

Or you could use a pressure feed system , with the tanks on the roof that use the sun to heat up . Most of those systems are sealed and they pressurize the tank with a hand pump .

This would be more about having a warm shower wherever I go, be it the end of a FSR, at a rec site or BC Parks campground. Kennedy Lake with a warm shower would be delightful. Surfers Junction isn't always my cup of tea.

I would assume it does , I never watched any videos on that unit , juts the $167 set-up . Even if it does have a pump it must use a battery to power it I would think , the cheaper unit has 2 D cell batteries .

There it is, right in front of my stupid face. Derp. Thanks.

The Coleman looks like a real tidy package.

Looks like there's a few other options out there, Cabellas has a few types, starting at $200.
