There was no such thing as a half shirt on girls. Only the guys wore those and they were usually mesh or had HAWAII written across them **

Chelsea hair cuts -shaved all over with big skater bangs up front..bonus
points if the front part was permed.
Perms -bad ones (are there good ones?)with BIG ass Bangs and lots
of hairspray to make "the wall"
Tapered Pants -Usually cord or jeans with safety pins from the ankle to the
knee bringing the fabric in for a nice tapered look.
Bleach jeans -Jeans with Bleach splashed on them. Nice!
Beaver Canoe/
Roots Sweats - The bigger the better, paired with stirrup pants on the ladies

hey Danielle, now your just following me around! STALKER!!!

and as far as trends in high school go, i can't really say much cause i'm still in it, but so far i've noticed that apparently your part of the "cool" crowd if you get about 600+ people and all try to hang out and "chill" in the main foyer of the school…which is built for maybe 200 people…and which is also conveniently RIGHT NEXT to the Cafeteria, but it's not "cool" to hang out in the cafeteria.

I'll comment on other popular trends in a few years when I can actually succesfully look back and really laugh at it all.

Hrmm. in my highschool days it was real trendy not to be trendy. Ummm..yah. Ie: people made an effort to be as non-trendy as they could possibly be. Ofcourse this was around the time when Nirvana was at the peak of it's (1st) popularity (you know, before Cobain got his brains blown out by Courtney). And the grunge thing was the dresscode of the day. Personal hygiene will never be the same for an entire generation. Me and my friends were more into the whole punk bullshit. Mohawks, leather, spikes.. the standard uniform. Personally I took pride in my keen sense of dress, I peaked when I came to school in full 1930ies schoolboy atire. Including the puffy pants with the high socks, pseudo-barret, suspenders and lofers….. yah I was a rebel.

I'm 6,3ft 220 pounds combined with what my guidance counselor back in the day described as, and I translate loosely, "A biting hate towards the world around him". So that's a no :( I cheered up alot in college though :D

Remember the ruffle shirts on the ladies and the dress shirt, pant and dress shoe combo on the guys…(Vanilla Ice etc…)? And whatever happend to KISH? That little white rapper kid from Toronto?

The guys had the white wall hair cut with either the flat top or the sweet angle hairsprayed box top. Whoa…someone should bring that back eh?
