Are here bitches. Whats the word on the street? Major upsets you see coming up lsuch as Edmonton beating Detroit? Dont know why but I think it could happen. Other than that, I'd like to think San Jose or even Anaheim w/ Mr. Burke at the helm from the west. The east is a different beast altogether it seems. Probably Jersey or Buffalo. Laugh all you want but I'm having a badass time trying to pick my roster for the pool.

The one nice thing about living out here now is knowing that there are weeks of playoff pub nights ahead cheering on the home team.

Ottawa swept the Tampa Bay this season 4-0, outscoring TB 12-6. Unfortunately, the Sens have been rather flat lately, and I don't know what's up with Hasek. Emery played well to finish off the season, though.

I'd guess a 4-2 series against TB.

That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.

Ya, supposedly speed rules the new NHL (The Province) and it does, but I would also like to see as many Scott Stevens (although I never liked him, something about the let's have a beer joke to a recovering player) bonecrusher "hit-men" out there, which seems to be more difficult than ever with the new rules…not that the playoffs were as "mean", because no one really wants to fight and/or take the "stupid" penalty.
