Well, Ted and Heidi Cruz are "fervently" praying this time, so that should help.
Saw one comment where the person pointed out that after some guy tried to use an explosive in his shoe during a flight, everyone now had to take off their shoes before boarding a flight. But after a ridiculous amount of mass shootings there hasn't been one law enacted to help lower incidents.
Saw Ted Cruz say that democrats will try an politicize this. How dare they!
Oh, and immediate response from the right wing news: "Why was the fence around the school only four feet high? Why no armed security guard in the school? Why aren't teachers packing?". Never do they actually address the root of the problem.

I don't accept this. When BC goes into wild fire mode every summer, we don't just throw up our hands and say: well the fire is already burning so I guess that's that.
There are actions that can be taken that can slow this down and reverse the tide. There is one party that won't even allow for a vote to happen about common sense gun laws. It's really fucking simple.

Australia, 1996. Go do some reading on the buyback and destruction of 650,000 weapons. There are measures that can be enacted, but by throwing your hands up and saying nothing can be done, you're enabling the Republican NRA campaign that continues this cycle.
