It is a total letdown... but you didn't "tell us so".  Biden wasn't even in my top 5 of all the Democrats running for POTUS.  You told us he was evil incarnate and would usher in an age of war more than a few times that a few of us probably didn't buy.

Normally I can wrap my head around election letdowns but I don't see the brilliance in a big zero on the debt forgiveness because it didn't have any discernable downsides to him or the Democrats.  The explanation that I have heard that might make sense is that he is still waiting for a report on what authority he has to absolve the debt through an EO and there is a big possibility that he can't.  In that case it will be up to Congress.

This might be the stupidest ‘hot take’ I read this week.

As Current Affairs, a magazine of progressive political commentary, noted on Twitter: "50k of student debt cancellation was the inadequate compromise; 10k of cancellation was Biden's pathetic, outrageous alternative proposal. Now they're offering $0 of cancellation, meaning that on student debt [Biden] might as well be [former President Donald] Trump."

Biden's the slimiest swamp critter there ever was. He's now punked the youth who voted for him on the student debt issue and is using "bipartisanship" to weasel out of doing anything substantive.

Know what's funny is debt is usually something people take on knowing they'll have to pay it back.

Possibly goes to show how misled the younger generations are? One would think the Canadian students would be expecting student debt forgiveness moreso than Americans. 

If they fell for bidens ideas or voted for him just based on that, those students smoke way too much hopium.

I read a headline or caption recently that stated Biden's Admin has been to normalize relations with Cuba.

Just saw a Biden clip where he stated that 99% of sars2 cases were in unvaccinated people. Doesnt that contradict that MSNBC article that stated 74% of cases were double tapped? Even the President is spreading fake news.

Anyone else catch it Friday during a WH presser when a reporter asked how they're testing for the delta variant and the end answer was basically "the experts said so".
