Holy fuck who cares. Is Biden trying to help the common people more than Donald Trump? Yes? Ok we're moving in the right direction..

Biden has done an EXCELLENT job at procuring and distributing vaccine. Man, I hate being jealous of all things USA, but they are kicking ass on vaccination front.  Amazing what can happen when you equip government with competent leadership.

Lots of people do from what I can tell. And I'll just disagree with your idea of a good direction.

That Amtrak map with 30 new routes is potentially very exciting. Best trip I've ever taken was the train ride from Vancouver to Edmonton.

Can you imagine jumping on the train to go to Vegas?

It would be fun on the way there, but the hangover trip back would take forever.

Honestly though, I don't like flying so more trains are A OK with me.  If there was a high speed rail down the west coast I would probably make that my travel plans pretty much every time.

LOL

I used to know the Vegas - YVR flight options pretty well from all the conferences we'd hit.  Depending on how hard you decided to go the night before, that is the longest 3 hour flight on the planet.

High speed train to all the way to Cali would be awesome as that means you could easily do a weekend trip of riding that includes one day in Oregon and one day in NorCal.

I came back from a Vegas conference after a rough night and I somehow lost the company AMEX.  The whole flight I was hoping that I managed to cancel it before it was used for a wild night that I would have a hard time confirming or denying.

It was all good.  No idea where I lost it or what bars I ended up in but the last charge was my dinner.  Even my own cards were not that abused.  The last thing I remember clearly was getting kicked out of a bar for flipping off the bartender, then getting a shoe shine in the hotel lobby and the women shining shoes told me I should just go to my room and change clothes and go back in.  Totally worked.
