Looking for a good tattoo artist, preferably somewhere in Vancouver or sky train accessible.
Anybody have suggestions? Looking for someone who can do text, animals and surrealist art, not super into photo realism, prefer modern/unique art style.
Post some pics to show off your work if you'd like as well, always helps to see some art when talking about this stuff.

Just going to post names of some shops that I know that have artists who do great work/friends work out of. Sanitary Electric Tattoo, Gastown Tattoo, Black Medicine Tattoo, Strathcona Tattoo. There are many other really great tattoo shops in Vancouver though. I dunno if these ones have artists that match exactly what you're looking for, but they're ones my friends work out of or go to.

I was driving down the mall when I seen a shapely white woman with alabaster skin but who seemed to have bruises all over her body like she'd been beaten to within an inch of her life when closer I seen she'd defiled with blotches of dark blue ink all over her body.

Why, eh?

I want to express my individuality … because everyone else is doing it.

The only thing dumber than doing something just because other people do it too is not doing something just because other people do it too.

Here are mine, both done by a girl I used to date here in China:

They're both over the parts of my body that have suffered the most serious injuries and still cause me some pain to this day. I'm happy with them but wouldn't mind adding more detail in the future.
