Japanese Village is my favorite restaurant in town. Excellent sushi as well as grill. I'm going there for dinner tomorrow.

I think he's only sick in the head, I don't think that is contagious.

I saw a sushi place i Vancouver on Anthony Bourdain's show "No reservations".
It looked really good. The guy makes his own wasabi using a shark skin to grind
the Japanese horseradish. He only uses local fish (no imported tuna/longline) and
he uses locally available seaweeds and veggies. I forgot the name, but when I get
a job, me and the misses is going to get our suhshi on.

I had prime rib last Friday and one of the young co-op students I work with points to his horseradish and asked me what this Wasabi like stuff was. Kids these days…

Don't we hate bear mountain because they killed all the trails?

Haven't seen Koto mentioned here yet (on fort between government and warf), best mid-priced sushi I've had in Victoria (WAY better than azuma imo), and one of the few Japanese owned and run in town, if that means anything
