Ty.

In the summer I'm going to take 5 courses. I do want to go to university though. Maybe for postgrad?

And yes I know what I want.

Yes to this^^^

Far to often people get a label attached to whatever their issue is. And then get told the solution is medication. When they would be better served by learning methods to deal with it, make lifestyle changes, and other methods.

__Andreas, ride your bike more or run in the woods more. Get those good happy brain chemicals going.__

THESE ARE YOUR OPTIONS.

ok?

I'm in that stressfull time right __meow__.

Majin, Consider how long you will be in school for and make sure you are set up financially as best as you can, and manage your time properly. Have a routine and schedule you keep that includes homework, socialization, women, hobbies and physical fitness. Riding works for two of those. Socialize with women, and presto you only have 3 things to plan for ;)

wtf?

This is exactly why it's important to have an idea of what you want to do once you leave highschool. I went to school with so many people that finished and had no idea or guidance in regards to their future. I have friends who work at grocery stores, retail stores, etc. and have no future plans for a career. Five years out of school. A year off is fine. But once you get past a certain point, it's really hard to come back. You get used to the lifestyle of working 9-5 and having all the freedom you want.
Let me tell you, though. School is not the cure all for your problems. Sure it will get you to where you want to be, but you're not going to be a nurse tomorrow. We're talking about 5-6 years of hard work. You think your life up to this point was hard on you emotionally and physically? Imagine doing the same amount of work for no pay and no guarantees. You have to be willing to work hard and even though you say your social life suffered when you were working, the same happens while you are in school. And if you're working to pay off loans or rent, that adds to your stress.

My advice to you is to just follow what you love. The thing with life is that you cannot always predict it or get what you want. I entered university being interested in science. I had no expectations as to where I wanted to be in 10 years, or what area of research I wanted to focus on, but that comes when you experience what is offered. I write my last exam of my undergrad on Monday and I start graduate school in January. This was not a decision I made overnight. But I love what I do. You may want to be a nurse now, but you may hate it down the road. A passion is key. Don't tell yourself what you want, know what you want. I wish you luck, Andreas. I just hope you're actually going to go through with this rather than let everyone's advice goto waste.

Man, what happened to you.

I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do after highschool. I found a good work ethic eventually though, and worked hard, and built references so when I found something I wanted I had people who recommended me.
