1 week of crying nonsensically

1 week of crying while playing any form of video games

Panic attacks to the point where I had to lie down. Not wanting to get out of bed. It was actually pretty bad for me last month. I havn't worked at the bar for a month.

i guess working 60 hours a week for 3 years, having 1 day off a week and destroying my social life really got to me.

Work sucks, granted. Working that much sucks more. 20's can suck (they did (and still do to some extent) for me). Speaking from experience, it sounds like there was (or still are) some 'additives' involved.

Maybe I'm wrong, but huge emotional breakdowns are usually the result of holding shit inside and pacifying with self-medication (read: club 'fun').

If that's not the case… then wonderful. That being said a friend of mine waited 3 years to get in to langara nursing.

Hmmm well when you get to BCIT you'll figure out that wasting 5 years of your life isn't all as terrible as you might have thought. Every program will have people older than you going back to school.

Second thing of note is, deciding to go back to school is the easy part BCIT will not be kind to you. School will probably cause as much or more self doubt and stress throughout your time. Just be ready for it. You will be up against some highly motivated people and don't expect anyone to feel sorry for you or congratulate you on getting into the program. Sometimes I feel school is just a big hoop to jump through that weeds out the weak and rewards those that make it through.

Good luck.

andreas has gotten tons of help/advice over the years and for the most part all he's done is thrown it back in people's faces by continuing his nsmb antics. some people just take longer to get there, maybe that's his situation. the hardest thing to do is change the way you live your life and i hope he gets there eventually.

this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

we have all watched the car crash which is faithless consistantly make the wrong choice every single time even after its expalined to him why it is a bad choice SO I am not holding my breath … cuz people do what they do

Start running. When I was deep in the shit it was the single thing that saved me. Everything disappeard when I'd run, I was happy, I'd go twice a day actually. You should really go talk to someone, the negative part of that if you goto a doctor they'll most likely want to start you off on meds, but just talking to a councellor or a doctor helps alot. From experience, stay away from meds. All they did for me was make me number without dealing with anything, and trying to get off them is worse than what you started with. What you need is to to try and surround yourself with supportive people. Really though man, coming onto a forum and asking for help is basically doing nothing. Its on YOU. You can either sit down and say I need to deal with this now and commit, or wallow is self doubt and spiral into deeper depression. Everyone feels fucked at one point, its just a matter of grinding through it.

yeah bro!!

I think even before you posted this, you knew what needed to be done. Now that the forum has given you a push, go do it.

Ok, i don't get why people are raggin' on jbazzet, He is only stating the truth, Majin does have a long history of crisis', bad behavior and remarks probably not only on the interwebs but in real life too. Perhaps he's not stating it as eloquently as some of you would like but you all know he what he is saying is true.

I'll reserve judgement until Majin does show some improvement and effort. i hope he is able to do so.

More power to Majin if he is going to do the hard work and make changes to his life for the better… He'll be able to stand up and tell a lot of people "told ya so, ya F**ckers"

first thing you'll need is the ability to discipline yourself, stay off the net, stay out of the casino, stop taking ECA stacks or any drugs (alcohol included) unless your doctors prescribe it, be humble when someone is offering you advice, you don't always have to take it, but at least be courteous, listen and consider what advice they are offering. Eat organic if you can, if not eat healthy as possible, exercise, ride, be kind to people, in return i think you will find they will be kind to you. Good luck kid.

i'm a has been, trying to be a never was on the comeback trail.

Your right. I've already registered for 3 classes, reducing my schedule at work to twice a week, and I'm waiting for some minor damage to be fixed on my car, dumping it, picking up an older corolla or civic and doing it.

Thanks NSMB.

getting my dogs was really good for me, they force you to go outside and exericse every day, and are good company…better than most people IMHO.

having said that you probably do not want a dog if you are going to be in school full time.

when you feel blah about doing something, ask yourself if it will make you happy (short term) or improve your life (long term), if the answer is no, try to avoid it.

but then what the hell do i know?

Well, well I been movin' down to Florida.
And I'm gonna bowl me a perfect game.
Well I'm gonna cut off my leg down in Florida, child.
And I'm gonna dance one-legged off in the rain.
