Riding a feature that scared the bejeezus out of me.

Shower beer.

Living in a place where I have no neighbours above me.

The shower beer really is a truly under appreciated treat.

Speaking of beer, the first one after a ride or the first one after a day where nothing went as planned.

amongst many things, taco truck hot pursuit ranks right up there... especially when it's close to home

New sport!  spent late 2019  - 2020 in full kayak mode.

Purchased 2 kayaks.  Necky Tofino,  and a Necky Arluk III. Both in great condition only needed some love.

Over 500 miles and counting all along our coast.

Oh my god....thanks for sharing those amazing images.

Re: Shower beer, never have had one, give it a try the next weekend.

What makes me happy?

- Riding with my son if I have the chance, and seeing him grow to hopefully become a descent young man.

- Riding bikes in general, no matter if in a parking lot, on a fire road or on trails, as long as the wheels keep spinning and turning with the occasional air thrown in for good measure.

- Seeing paintings and sketches from Wil Freeborn, a Scottish illustrator and painter (check his IG, beautiful) and other artists - amazing talent out there.

- A beautiful sunset, a smile or compliment, the small things

The older I get, the more I appreciate the simple and basic things, being more or less in good health and not dead yet.

Nice to see some kayak pictures! My partner has been into kayaking for a while. Unfortunately we don't have space to store a kayak. She always wanted an Oru foldable but they're pretty expensive. So she made do with two different inflatables but they were not ideal.

Last year we rented a double at Deep Cove Kayak a couple of times and I liked it enough to want my own. We ended up ordering two Orus. They finally arrived in October and we lucked out with some nice late fall weather so we could try them out. They are really light and paddle a lot better than expected.

Looking forward to a lot of paddling this summer!

Liking this boating theme.  Still got a boat I drag into the waters around here on sunny days to make wife happy.  That shot looking up the Arm brings back a lot of fond thoughts from living on Panorama and paddling up to the WigWam.  Thanks for the good energy dudes, helps dilute the toxicity of some of this NBR sub

Those kayak pics make me happy, thank you!

I’ve paired down the number of activities that I pursue in the last few years, and ocean kayaking has fallen by the wayside but dang, it’s lovely!  It’s just a matter or organization and I can be in the water in a few minutes from my place, now where to store the boats...

The restored boat pics are inspirational, I’ve been wanting to do my folks boats for a LONG time now...one day.

I rode mountain bikes with friends yesterday, which is something that doesn’t happen much these days and dang! that makes a guy happy!  Went pretty fast a few times too!

!!

Got out skiing yesterday.  Getting up into snow-capped mountains on a bluebird day really sets my head straight and makes me happy.

What for?  That sounds like a gig of a lifetime.  24 hour days!
