Greetings NBR Hive Mind,

I am in need of a good engineer that knows their way around concrete slabs. Ideally they will have a licence in both BC and Alberta as I do projects in both equally. I would prefer a small firm or even a one man/woman show.

Any suggestions.

You will be better off with a medium sized firm as opposed to a "one man show". Most single practitioners have absolutely no back-up when they go on vacation, and as such your projects won't get any attention.

Check out IQ Engineering in Abbotsford. Solid, medium sized firm.

Good point. That has happened to me in the past with the guy we use now. He has a couple people in his office but nothing seems to happen when he is away. Thanks Andrew.

Highly recommend John Bryson.
I believe he recently merged and is now Bryson Markulin Zickmantel Structural Engineers.
