Hino 6x6 expedition vehicle (no camper mounted) $8000.
I got a 68 dodge shortbus that would look so cool mounted on that chasis.
It is insured as a moterhome. With Rockwells that is 5000 just for diffs. lose the hino cab.
Or buy a Unimog and have a top speed of 50 mph.
"Looks like a Canoe with the seats kicked out of it !"
I've seen that hino in person. The thing is BAD ASS

Wheeldrop owns a shortbus. Is no one going to jump on this?

Sorry to bring up an old post, I ended up buying it. I've done a lot of work to it since to get it road worthy. Pretty much just needs lights, exo age, deck and rear bumper now.
One of these is not like the others.
No matter how smug you are with that little wink, a 30 year old VW is only worth it to lesbians and hippies, neither of which can afford a clean 30 year old VW.
;) ;) ;)
LOL, true on soooo many levels..

The Hino 6x6?
If so, pics? (since the original thread is goneā¦)
Sounds fast, but like a wallet killer at the same time. My friend had a Momentum-built Syncro VR turbo Mk2. It was in for repairs more often than it was running, but was a ton of fun when it was running.
But that is good to hear. I hadn't really kept track of what went on after the Momentum split but I know the Shaun/Shawn combo was known for good work before that.
I had a Momentum built G60 Corrado with a Bahn Brenner tweaked G-lader. Was good fun while I had it.
Now I lust over having a Rallye Golf at some point:
