hey im bored so i pulled out my guitar and i need some ideas of cool songs to learn how to play. im kinda intermediate so no joe satriani yet hehe

any ideas?

the weird thing is i've only seen one or two 18min declines and a bunch of 5 - 7 min ones…and none of the short ones seem cut off…?

I'm guessing because the decline has all those breaks, and they just cut it off at the break..

for sure, i love playing those songs:) how 'bout trying some chilli peppers stuff. scar tissue, under the bridge, my friends and others are all super fun once you learn them. if you're looking for some easier stuff, otherside or californication are good.:)

lol, most system of a down stuff is so hard to play (at least on my acoustic) since the tunings are all like drop C and other crazy stuff:lol:

I've been working on smoothing out the Crossroads Suite (Steve Vai) and a Satriani song called Day at the Beach.

Try using the winamp plugin called Pacemaker to slow the tempo (not the pitch) of songs that are hard to pick out. Its how I deal with some Vai/Satriani songs.
