Something about the snow.

There's something about the snow. Maybe it's because here in the lower mainland we don't get much of it usually. So quiet in the evening. Less traffic [HTML_REMOVED] what traffic there is, is quieter travelling on snow instead of asphalt. Shovelling driveway [HTML_REMOVED] sidewalk, neighbors walking by saying hi, do you think we'll get more? etc. I guess easterners would tell a different story. They get their fill every winter.

I really enjoy the quieting effect of snow, probably because it reminds me of Maritime winters in New Brunswick. I do think it puts a lot of people in a better mood, at least once they're not having to drive in it.

It's been awesome to see the kids at my daughter's school being able to build snowmen and forts and sliding on any slope that they can get some momentum on. Taking my daughters skating on Trout Lake last month was great.

I love it.
Find it very soothing, plus the skiing has been off the hook.

The snow remova/salting in NV has been great.
Where I work in Burnaby, they are the laughing stock. Pathetic.

Chalk up another to the 'love it' camp.

That said, if you're driving your summer-tired Lamborghini in this and hurt someone you should face criminal charges.

The snow is great, but I think I have had enough cold weather for the year. I like getting a week of spring weather in February, say sunny and 14 degrees. Like it was for the Olympics.

Born and raised here, I'm loving this cold snowy weather. Something about going out in February with sunglasses on…

Strange. This snow is making me crankier by the day, even with the stellar skiing. Freezing level needs to stay at 600-700m and not one meter below.

Only bad part is not much for biking, but we have the rest of the year for that.

I love it too, the softer trails are getting a good break as they were not during the soaker fall.

I think part of it is SADS. I do enjoy my drive though. Short, without crazy traffic, and fun enough to have the 4x engaged.

Must. Go. Biking.
